Senior Graphic Designer

The function:
PiNNED by K is growing! That's why we're immediately looking for a senior graphic designer with experience in the fashion industry (preferably at another fashion company) to join our team. You'll not only be an expert in designing, but also mentor a small team of juniors. You'll sketch inspiration and ideas and bring them to our brainstorming sessions for new collections. You'll coach juniors and teach them the tricks of the trade. You'll also contribute to the online experience of customers when they shop on our website www.pinnedbyk.com . You'll also create mood boards, lookbooks, and stylesheets, for example.
We manage our entire production process ourselves, right here in the Netherlands. This means we can produce your designs directly with minimal impact on the environment!
What are we looking for?
We're looking for a creative all-rounder with a passion for fashion and styling who brings a wealth of experience and enjoys inspiring and mentoring junior colleagues.
Requirements:
- You are available 36 to 40 hours per week
- You have an MBO/HBO Graphic Design diploma (or equivalent)
- You have at least 4 years of experience as a graphic designer in the fashion industry
- You have at least 1 year of experience in guiding colleagues/a small team
- You have knowledge of the latest trends and developments in fashion
- You have strong communication skills
– You are proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop
– You can draw/design on an iPad
- You have pattern/fit/textile knowledge
– You dare to think 'out of the box' and are not afraid to pitch your ideas and give feedback
